The novotegra green roof can now also be planned in Solar-Planit using landscape oriented modules. All orientations—south,
east/west, and
north/south—are supported. You can now flexibly arrange PV modules in landscape orientation on green roofs, benefit from adjustable row
spacing, and
receive, as usual, automatic structural analysis and ballast calculations, as well as dimensioned detail drawings in the PDF export.
Green Roof Substrate:
You can now define the substrate of a green roof in the roofing settings. Activate “Define substrate” and either select a substrate
from the catalog or enter your own substrate with name and dry weight (kg/m³).
With a defined substrate, the ballast calculation additionally outputs the required substrate height (cm) per module, so you can see
directly how much substrate is needed on the roof.

Flat Roof II East-West:
novotegra FRII East-West now also supports disabling a single module within an East-West module pair.
This new feature enables the use of the East-West wind deflector to remove only one of the two modules, allowing the maximum possible system capacity to be installed on the roof.
The layout, including ballast calculation and bill of materials, is automatically adjusted, resulting in a clean project report without any manual rework.

The new novotegra mounting solution allows individual modules to be replaced with a wind deflector, meaning that fewer modules often need to be omitted in the case of roof windows or other small obstacles.
